I can't believe I actually remembered the name of this blog! It took me a long time to get my password reset, but I'm really glad I did. Blogging has slipped right through my fingers for too long. The last few years have been pretty busy, but it's a shame I haven't written anything here and there. In the last 2 1/2 years, I've thankfully kicked off my career! After student teaching in both 5th and 3rd grade in Brentwood, NY, I landed a permanent sub job at SCOPE. Shortly after, I was so fortunate to achieve a teaching position through SCOPE at South Street Elementary School. I'm now teaching my second year of Universal Pre-K there! My next goal is to start my Master's Degree and eventually become an actual district teacher. As for my personal life, a lot of big things have happened as well! Matt and I are engaged!!! This happened on December 21st, 2012. One of the reasons I'm getting back to writing is I want to write all the exciting things that are happening so I can look back on these times! I'll be back soon!
